Third Coast Squadron meets the third Saturday of each month at 1100 hrs. at the O'Club adjacent to our hangar. We welcome visitors to join us and enjoy learning more about helping us "Keep 'Em Flying"
Unit Staff Meetings are held at 9:00 a.m. on the same day as our regular unit meetings. These meetings are open to all members unless the Staff is in Executive session. The Staff meets in the Maintenance shop at the rear of the hangar.
ATTENTION STAFFERS: The September Staff meeting will be held in Midland during AIRSHO....just in case you forgot!
PLEASE NOTE! Our next Unit meeting will be on September 27th. The meeting has been set back one week due to AIRSHO®. Many of our members will be attending!
The Hall of Fame nominating committee is now accepting potential candidates for review for possible induction to the Hall of Fame, which will be held on Saturday, November 15th during the squadrons Fly-In. Please send your request to the Chairman,Col. Paul Emmons. Nominating criteria: A South Texas veteran, active or retired, living or deceased, that exemplified themselves during active duty serving our country.
AIRSHO® 2008 will be held on September 20-21 at CAF Headquarters in Midland/Odessa! Many of the squadron will be attending! This is the premier show for our warbirds, YOU don't want to miss it! For more information,Click Here!
Third Coast Squadrons' Wings over Alice Fly In will be held on November 15th at the Alice Airport. Focus this year will be on the Tail-draggers with an invite to both old and new examples of these wonderful planes. Military re-enactors, complete with vintage equipment will be bivouacked on the airfield also. Stay tuned as more details become available!
"DINNER WITH TWO SPIES"
Our 2nd annual Patriotic Speaker Series event is now in the squadrons history book. The event was a sellout once again, and our museum supporters were entertained with some of our finest American Heroes telling and sharing their stories. Pictures and info are posted.
